Clearance sales are the best way to get exactly what you want and at great prices. They are a rare find in some areas, but when they happen be prepared to spend some cash. You’ll thank yourself later.
Recently a quick trip down to the local craft store sent me into ecstatic bliss! I didn’t even know it was going to happen however when I approached the front doors I saw the magical words… CLEARANCE SALE!
The only problem with the clearance sale.. it was Sunday and the sale started Friday night.

Just about everything a scrapbooker could dream of was on sale. Scissors, paper, various stickers… everything 50% or more off! There were even totes and other storage containers at amazing prices. When I say “were” I really mean “were.” Sadly, all these great deals were already gone. I’m not saying I didn’t get a bunch of stuff.. there were still some fantastic items left however all the other items I would have purchased were already gone.
The moral of the story is this: If your local craft store offers email newsletters (or any newsletters at all), sign-up for them. I declined doing so because I thought the last thing I wanted was another email clogging up my Inbox. Well, I was wrong. (but don’t tell my husband, haha)
